Omer Goguen 1922 - 2009 Cocagne - Omer Goguen, 86, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, March 1st, 2009 at the Dr.Georges-L.-Dumont hospital after a lengthy illness. Born in Cocagne on July 14th, 1922, he was the son of the late Henri and Alice (Allain) Goguen. Omer is survived by his wife, Catherine (Rina) Goguen; two sisters, Corinne Cardiff (late David) of Easton Maryland, US and Lilianne Robichaud (late Louis) of Shediac, also several nieces and nephews. Resting at St-Pierre-de-Cocagne Roman Catholic Church in Cocagne, visitation hours will be on Thursday, March 5th, from 9:30 am to 11 am. Funeral service will be held at St-Pierre-de-Cocagne Roman Catholic Church in Cocagne at 11 am. Donations to the Foundation Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont or donors' choice would be appreciated by the family.
