T. Louisa Sutherland 1929 - 2009 Louisa Sutherland of Moncton went to be with The Lord in Heaven on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at The Moncton Hospital with her family by her side. Born in Philadelphia, U.S.A daughter of the late Everett and Thelma Stairs. Louisa was a member of Uplands Baptist Church, had a great sense of humour, Chinese Checkers champ of The Sutherland Family, loved any game that would make you think, reading, walking, talking, a good crossword puzzle and piping hot cup of tea. She will be sadly missed by three sons; Brian (Jeanne) of Dartmouth, Kerry (Joanne) of Moncton and Darren (Anabel) of Dieppe, one daughter, Rilla (Rick) of Moncton, ten grandchildren; Jasara, Kara, Shalane, Roxane, Alyssa, Travis, Kirk, Daniel, Zachary, Matthew as well as her five great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Everett of Huntsville, Alabama and all her special cousins that were like brothers to her. Gone on before were her husband, Cecil and her son Robert. Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home with visitation on Monday, March 9, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at 11:00 am followed by a reception in the Garden View Reception Room. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Remembrances in Louisa's memory may be made to The Canadian Baptist Ministry's or the Canadian Cancer Society.
