Freeman Larry Nimmo Freeman Larry Nimmo, 62, of Edmonton, AB passed away peacefully on March 4, 2009 at his place of residence. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 33 years, Virginia (Martin) Nimmo on June 11, 2004. Larry was born in Pocahontas, Arkansas on Oct 20, 1946 to Martha (Houston) Nimmo & William Nimmo. He was a proud member of the Armed Forces of the United States of America in the Department of the Navy, retiring with honors in October 1971. Larry worked in the construction trade in the Moncton area for numerous years. He was a loving man who was dedicated to his wife, children and grandchildren. He will be sadly and forever missed by his family, Larry Nimmo Jr. of Nashville, TN, Patricia Poirier (Shawn) of Edmonton, AB, Angela Wilson (Mike) of Moncton, NB, James Nimmo (Meaghan McArdle) of Moncton, NB; two special granddaughters, Chelsea and Ashley Wilson; sisters, Jule Duncan, Bernice Kincaid, Ouetta Lewis, Leona Painter and Mary Gregory; brothers, Bobby Nimmo, Alvin Nimmo and Curtis Nimmo. He will also be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, William and Martha, and his wife, Virginia, he was predeceased by a brother, Bill Nimmo and sister, Sharon Hill. A small private family interment will be held at the Holy Ghost Cemetery in Hopewell Hill, NB.
