Lorraine Leblanc 1921 - 2009 It is with great sadness that the family of Lorraine LeBlanc, 88, of Amirault Street, Dieppe announces her passing on Sunday, March 8th, 2009 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital. Born in Saint-Paul-de-Kent, NB, she was the daughter of the late Alyre and the late Edmée (née: Belliveau) Cormier. Mrs. LeBlanc was a member of the Club d'Age d'Or de St.-Anselme and a parishioner of St.-Anselme Roman Catholic Church. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Alphonse; her much loved children: Murielle (Claude) LeBlanc of Fox Creek, Rose-Marie Crain (David Fraser) of St.-Anselme, Jean-Paul of Notre-Dame and Charles (Wendy) of St.- Anselme; ten sisters: Anise (Eric) Belliveau, Edmée (late Francis) LeBlanc, Bernadette Cormier, Dorice (Eric) Breau, Maria (Alfred) LeBlanc, Sr. Zella Cormier, n.d.s.c., Yolande Cormier, Thérèse Cormier, Jeannine Cormier and Claudette (Henri) Lessard; two brothers: Emerie (Alice) Cormier and Emile (Idora) Cormier; four cherished grandchildren: Michelle, André (Joselle), Natalie and Nikki; one great granddaughter, Janie as well as several nieces and nephews. Beside her birth parents , she was also predeceased by the mother who raised her, Anna (née: Cormier); one sister, Azemia and also by one brother, Ulysse. Visitation will be held from Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB 857-1901, on Tuesday, from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm and also on Wednesday from 1 :30 pm until time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated from St.-Anselme Roman Catholic Church, on Wednesday March 11th, 2009, at 2 :30 pm. Interment in St.-Anselme Parish Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
