Wenda N. Duhy 1946-2009 Wenda Duhy, wife of Malcolm Duhy of Moncton passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, February 27th, 2009. Born in Saint John December 28th, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Wesley and Lillian Wood. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Malcolm; daughter, Angela Duhy-Osmond (Paul) and daughter Ashley Duhy; son James Duhy; brother Doug Wood (Paulette) and their children Aaron, Matthew and Meaghan; and life long best friends Helen and Ruth; as well as extended family and friends. Wenda was creative and free spirited and enjoyed various organizations, hobbies and interests. Above all else, she was dedicated to her family and friends. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation prior to the memorial service to be held at 11:00 am Saturday, March 14th, 2009 at Fair Haven Funeral Home. Reception to follow in the Garden View Room of the funeral home. Interment in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. Wenda asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to The Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Red Cross. The family would like to extend deep thanks and appreciation to Dr. Rubin, Dr. Northrup, the nurses of wing 6600 and all those others who through dedication and caring touched Wenda's life.
