Emma Bourque 1916 - 2009 Emma Bourque, 92, wife of the late Jacob Bourque, of the Villa Providence, Shediac, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2009 at the Dr. Georges-L-Dumont Hospital, Moncton. Born November 20, 1916 in Shediac, she was the daughter of the late Jacques and Mathilde (Pitre) Fougère. She was employed at the Villa Providence prior to her retirement. She is survived by seven children: Thérèse Robichaud (Emery), Rita Fergusson (late James), Stella Whalen (Michael), Gloria Gallant (Victor), Léonide (Édith) and Jean- Marie (Eugénie) all of Shediac, and Roland of Moncton; 16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and two great-great-great-grandchildren. She was the last survivor of her immediate family. Resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) on Monday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, from 9:30 a.m. until departure time of departure. The funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Shediac. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
