Jessie G. MacDonald 1934 - 2009 Miramichi - Jessie Georgina MacDonald, daughter of the late Wilmot and Lena MacDonald, of the MacDonald Road, Glenwood, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Tuesday morning, March 24, 2009, at the age of 74. Born in Glenwood, on August 7, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Wilmot and Lena I. (MacDonald) MacDonald. She was a former employee of the Dept. of National Defense, employed in the Junior Ranks Mess at the former CFB Chatham as well as a former employee of the Miramichi Senior Citizens Home, Miramichi. She is survived by two brothers, Dallas MacDonald (Cecile) and Wayne MacDonald (Anna), all of Glenwood; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by four sisters, Edna MacLean, Shirley Fitzpatrick, Verne Wiedman and infant Marjorie MacDonald; three brothers, Hayward, and infants Osborne and Wayne MacDonald. Visiting will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., on Wednesday only, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held from St. Stephen's United Church, Black River Bridge, on Thursday, March 26, 2009, at 2 pm, conducted by Rev. David Cleveland. Interment will be in the Black River Community Cemetery, later in the spring. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Stephen's United Church, General Fund, would be appreciated by the family.
