Hazel M. Paige 1924 - 2009 Hazel Marie Paige of Moncton passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, March 24th, 2009. Born in Salisbury, March 14th, 1924, she was the daughter of the late George and Charity (LeFurgey) Hines. Hazel dedicated her life to raising her family, she volunteered for many years at Moncton Headstart, and enjoyed bingo and traveling. She is survived by her children; John Madden (Katrina), Gloria Northrup (Wayne), all of Chipman, Carolyn Williams (Alyre) of Salisbury, Austin (Diane) of At. Albert, AB, Wayne and special cousin Lottie, at home, 17 grandchildren, 29 great grand children, one great great grandchild as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Frank Paige in 2000, and sisters Margaret and Mary. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home with visitation on Thursday, March 26th, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 o'clock on Friday, March 27th, 2009 at Fair Haven Funeral Home, followed by a reception in the Garden View Reception Room. Interment in Elmwood Cemetery in the spring. Remembrances in memory of Hazel may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Many thanks to the 5th floor nurses and staff of The Moncton Hospital.
