
Amanda "Imelda" Maillet
Amanda "Imelda" Maillet 1924 - 2009 Amanda " Imelda " Maillet, 84 of Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche, and formerly of Cocagne, has passed away at the Residence on Thursday, April 2nd, 2009 after a lengthy illness. She was married to the late Alcide Maillet (2003). Born in Saint-Paul on December 7th, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Johnny and the late Josephine (Gallant) Drisdelle. Imelda will be sadly missed by her two children, Rosetta "Vicky" Albrecht (Heinz) of Green Valley, Arizona and Roger (Dianna) of Cocagne, her three grandchildren Steven, Linda and Rick, and two great grandchildren, Olivier and Eric, her two sisters, Lorraine Hébert of Newington, Conn., Maria Riccardi (Don) of Farmington, Conn., one bother, Laurie (Fernande) of Wethersfield, Conn., and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers, Lionel, Willie, Emerie, and Gerald. Visitation will be held at the Saint-Pierre Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Cocagne on Sunday, April 5th, from 7 to 9 and Monday from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be at the Saint-Pierre Church, Cocagne on Monday, April 6th, at 7:00 pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring. In Imelda's memory donations can be made to the Dr Georges L. Dumont Hospital Foundation, or to the Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche.
