Penny Elaine McConaghy 1957 - 2009 Penny Elaine McConaghy of Riverview passed away Monday April 6, 2009 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Halifax, April 2, 1957 she was the daughter of the late Ray and Effie (Scott) Beazley. Most recently Penny had been employed with the Bank of Nova Scotia and the Toronto Dominion Bank in Riverview, prior to her career in the banking industry she had been with Sobey's for many years. She was a proud member of the Tit' Bateau Dragon Boat Team and the Red Hat Ladies Society. She will be sadly missed and forever remembered by her children, Jessica of Riverview and Christopher of Moncton, her sisters Nancy Balch (Lowell) of Kentville, Janet Blois of Cape Breton, her brother Walter (Brenda) of Dartmouth, several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by a sister Barbara Sweet. Visitation will take place from Cobb's Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. The funeral service will be held at the Trinity United Church, Old Coach Road, Riverview on Friday April 10. 2009 at 1:30 PM with Rev. Charlotte Youland officiating.
