Rose Marie "Rosie"Cormier 1919 - 2009 The death of Rose Marie "Rosie" Cormier, 90, occurred unexpectedly at the Cumberland Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, April 7, 2009. Born in Sackville, she was a daughter of the late Elois and Lilly Bourgeois. Rosie will be sadly missed by her two sons, Alain (Laurice) of Sackville and Michael of Regina; a daughter Carol (Chester) Haines of Sackville; five grandchildren, Nicole, Adam, Megan, Alyssa and Gabrielle; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Rosie was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Dominic; her daughter Anita; two brothers, Alan and Eddie, and one sister, Mary. Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (506-364-1300) from where visitation will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm on Friday, April 10, 2009. A funeral service will be held from the funeral home at 11am on Saturday, April 11, 2009. Father Allison Carroll officiating. Rosie will be laid to rest beside her husband and daughter in the Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in the Spring.
