88, South Bar It is with heavy hearts that we, the family announce the sudden passing of Charles Creighton on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2008, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney. Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late Charles and Florence (Morrison) Creighton. Charlie was employed with LeVatte Construction for 40 years until his retirement. Charlie is survived by his daughter, Margaret Leroy (Paul); his son, Kenneth (Willena) Creighton; his five grandchildren, Michelle Creighton, Margaret 'Mugsie' Burke, Mark Creighton, Melissa Leroy, Cara Leroy; as well as three great-grandchildren, Kendall MacKenzie, MacKenzie Creighton and Parker Burke. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by an infant son, Robert Charles, sisters, Margaret, Florence and Annie; brothers, Robert and Everett. Cremation has taken place.
