Norma Thompson 1936 - 200 ST. CHARLES, NB - Norma Thompson 73, of St. Charles passed away peacefully at the Villa Maria, St. Louis de Kent on Thursday, April 23rd, 2009. Born in New Liskeard, Ontario she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Eva (Gibbons) Conner. After Norma's service in the R.C.A.F., she was employed at the Base Administration. She was a member of the Richibucto Legion Branch No. 30 where she was a former secretary. She also was Commanding officer of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets 773 Sqdn. and a volunteer with the Literacy Program, Track & Field, Minor Hockey, and Legion Bingo. Norma will be sadly missed by her three daughters; Janet Lillie, Mary Lou Cameron (Gordon), Nathalie Thompson, three sons; Alfred (Nancy), James (Margaret), Bruce (Michelle), one sister; Shirley Boyce, 11 grand children, eight great grand children, several nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Normand. Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home with visitation on Sunday 7 to 9 and Monday at 1:00 pm until time of funeral. A Memorial Service will be held at Thompson's Funeral Home Chapel, Richibucto on Monday, April 27th, 2009 at 3:00 PM. Interment will be in the Aldouane Roman Catholic Cemetery.
