Myrna McGeorge 1938 - 2009 Myrna McGeorge, 70, of Moncton, with her loving family at her side, passed away peacefully at her residence following a brief illness on Monday morning, April 27th, 2009. Born in Halifax, NS, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Lydia (Zinck) Clarke. Myrna was a former clerk with People's Jewellers, Champlain Mall and former caregiver with Co-Aide. She was a member of The Moncton Wesleyan Church and a former volunteer at The Moncton Hospital. She enjoyed traveling (Florida), was an excellent cook, playing the piano, but first and foremost was time spent with her family. Myrna will be sadly missed by her husband of over 51 years, Gordon McGeorge; daughter, Krista Drake and fiancé, Chris Milner, Moncton; sons, Wade, Chicago, David (Gail), Cambridge, ON; grandchildren, Brandon, Catherine, Lydia, Danae, Austin, Grant; sister, Norma Harpell (Howard), Halifax; brothers, Harold Clarke (Audrey), Halifax, Malcolm (Ella), Mahone Bay; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, predeceased by her sister, Lorna; brothers, Austin, Walter. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Wednesday, 2 to 4, 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service, The Moncton Wesleyan Church, St. George Blvd., Thursday, April 30th, 2009, 11:00 am, Rev. David Way officiating. Reception following the service.
