Max Blakney 1921 - 2009 Max Blakney, 87, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, April 30th, 2009. Born in Sunny Brae, son of the late Charles R. and Josepha (Lawrence) Blakney. Max will be sadly missed by his wife Lee (Suddrey) of 62 years, grandson Jason (Michele) of Riverview and great grandson Kyle. Besides his parents, Max was predeceased by his only daughter Leslie. He was a member of the Air Force Veteran's Club and Legion Branch # 6. Remembrances in Max memory may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Visitation on Sunday, May 3rd, 2009 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Fair Haven Funeral Home with a legion service at 7:00 pm. Funeral service at the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home on Monday, May 4th, 2009 at 2:00 pm followed by interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
