D. Clayton MacLean 1928 - 2009 D. Clayton MacLean, 80, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, May 1, 2009. Born in Darlington, PE, he was the son of the late Daniel and Mary Anne (Mae) (Campbell) MacLean. Clayton retired from the CNR with 35 years service in the Operating Sales and Marketing Departments. He was a life member (50 years) and Past Master of Mount Moriah Masonic Lodge #15 AF & AM, Central Bedeque, PE, member of the Moncton Curlers Association, Brudenell Golf Club, PE and attended St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Moncton. Clayton will be sadly missed by his wife of 55 years, Shirley (Stewart); daughter Joanne MacDonald (Mark), Halifax, NS; sons, Stephen (Mary) Stratford, PE, Brian (Susan), Ottawa, ON; grandchildren, Dara, Charlotte, Clay, Grace and Michael; brothers, John (Rose), Gerald (Mavis), both of Oshawa, ON; sister Eileen Lidstone, Charlottetown, PE; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by sisters Florence McKinnon and Doris MacEachern. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Monday 7 to 9pm. Keith Lodge #23 F&AM Memorial Service, Monday, 6:30pm. Funeral service St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Park Street, Tuesday, May 5, 1:30pm, Rev. Dr. Martin Kreplin officiating.
