Ida J. LeBlanc The death of Mrs. Ida J. LeBlanc wife of Leo LeBlanc of Foyer Assumption and formerly of Rogersville, NB, occurred at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Saturday, May 9, 2009 at the age of 77. Born in Rogersville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Everest and Ursula Cassie. Ida worked at various jobs over the years. Besides her husband: Leo, Ida is survived by: four daughters: Louise Dawson (Greg) of Mississauga, ON; Shirley LeGresley of Trenton, NS; Leona Baillie (Ray) of River John, NS; Lisa McAllister of Fredericton, NB; five step-children: Paul LeBlanc and Ann Snell both of Oromocto, NB; Jennie Cote (Rolle) of Ottawa, ON; Dwight LeBlanc (Mavis) of Calgary, AB; Bruce LeBlanc (Jo) of California; one sister: Anoreen Bourgeois of Moncton, NB; one brother: Bermon Cassie (Leoa) of Cape Breton, NS; ten grandchildren, one great grandchild, several step grandchildren, step great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Ida is predeceased by: five brothers and one sister. The family will receive visitors at Sainte Francois de Salle Roman Catholic Church, Rogersville, NB today, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday May 13th, 2009 at 11 AM with Father Guy Lejendre officiating. Burial will take place in the Roman Catholic Church Cemetery in Rosaireville, NB at a later date. In Ida's memory, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or to a memorial of one's choice.
