Geneva Arsenault Geneva Arsenault, 92, wife of the late Joseph Arsenault, of Dieppe, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at The Moncton Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born January 27, 1917 in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Régis and Rosanna (Goguen) Cormier. Geneva especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. In her younger days, she loved to cook for people, and enjoyed times at her sister's cottage in the summer. She loved playing cards and teasing people while playing. She was a good sport. One of her favorite hobbies was making babysets by crochet. She often talked of her sister Rita about their Sunday drives together. She especially spoiled her grandchildren and we will cherish those memories. She will be sadly missed by all the lives she touched. She is survived by her five children: Germaine Bourgeois (late Françis), Corinne Boucher (late Laurie), Ronald (Iona), Robert (Lillianne) and Roger (Nicole); a sister, Rita Collette; a brother, Gérald Cormier (Kay); 11 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, she is predeceased by her brothers and sisters: Raymond, Alfred, Edgar, Ernest, Corinne, Alma, Irene, and Edna. Resting at Frenette's Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, Thursday May 14 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
