Ernest Babineau 1923 - 2009 Ernest Babineau, 86, of Résidence Urbain Breau, Saint-Antoine, and formerly of Notre-Dame, has passed away at the Moncton City Hospital, Moncton on Thursday May 14th, 2009 after a brief illness. He was married to the late Marguerite (Hébert) Babineau (1992). Born in Notre-Dame on March 09, 1923, he was the son of the late Edmond and the late Eugénie (Cormier) Babineau. Ernest was self employed as a lumberman and also doing snow removal at the Dr Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton for approximately 40 years. He leaves to mourn his five children, Rose-Marie LeBlanc (Hervé), Claudette LeBlanc (Paul) both of Irishtown, Donald (Linda-Mai), Claude (Charlene) both of Notre-Dame, Charles of Toronto, six grandchildren, Marc, Stéphane, Julien, Joshua, Janelle, Shayne, four sisters, Anita Cormier (Clovis), Florine Babineau both of Moncton, Léona Richard (Aimé) of Dieppe, Cécile Ward of Miscou Island, six brothers, Aurèle (Nora), Gerard (Hélène), Alcide, Oscar (Annette), Hervé (Marie) all of Moncton, Yvon of Dieppe and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Thérèse. Visitation will be held at the Notre-Dame du Sacré-Coeur Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Notre-Dame on Friday May 15th 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Saturday May 16th, from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held at the Notre-Dame Church on Saturday May 16th at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In Ernest's memory donations can be made to the Dr Georges L.
