Shirley B. Wortman Shirley B. Wortman, 79, of Moncton, with her loving family at her side, passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, May 19, 2009. Born in Millerton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Stafford and Bessie (Hart) MacCallum. Shirley was a former employee of the T. Eaton Co. Ltd. and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of Humphrey Memorial United Church and served her church in various capacities in past years. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, walking in Champlain Mall and spending time at the family cottage (Richibucto), but first and foremost was time spent with family and friends. Shirley will be sadly missed by her husband of 55 years, Laurie A. Wortman; son, Laurie, Moncton; daughters, Sherry Lewis (Wayne), Second North River, Ginny Langis (Roland), Moncton, Leigh-Ann Wortman (Mark Belliveau), Montreal, PQ; grandchildren, Christopher, Michael, Jill, Shelby, Maya; great grandchildren, Taylor, Logan, Chloe; sisters, Peggy Steeves (late Eldon), Campbellton, Helen (Coakley) Westhaver (Bob), Miramichi; brother, Bennett MacCallum (Ellen), Miramichi; half- brother; Burt Vanderbeck and half- sisters; Joan Thomas and Eleanor Mollegaard several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Kathleen, Edith, Stella, Dora; brothers, Stafford, Jim, Robert, George, Perce.
