Jean D. Stone 1924 - 2009 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jean Dodd Stone, our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and loving wife surrounded by those who loved and cherished her. Her strength and courage remain with us forever. Jean, wife of George L. Stone of Moncton, passed away on Tuesday, May 26th, 2009 following a brief illness. Born in Moncton, June 14th, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Gertrude Trites. She is survived by her husband George L. Stone, daughter Diana Killam (Dave), sons, Terry Majensky (Aurelda) and Wayne Majensky (Gloria), step-daughter, Cheryl Johnson (John), step-son George Stone Jr., brothers, Carl Trites and Donald Trites (Phyllis), nine grand children, 12 great-grand children, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Reginald Trites, and sisters, Joan Black and Phyllis Phillips. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation prior to the Memorial Service to be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 30th, 2009, at Mount Royal United Church, 106 Mount Royal Blvd. Moncton. Reception to follow in the Church Hall. Interment in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Parkinson's Foundation, or such other charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
