Peacefully at home on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008, at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Arthur. Loving mother of Claire, the late Patricia Arnold, Beverly Finn, Marilyn McLean, Arthur, and Ernest. Dear grandmother of Shaun (Paula), Lisa (Mike), John, Sarah, Lori (Todd), David (Elaine), Lorna, Tammy, John, Angel, Willy, Bobby and Tonia. Great-grandmother of 14. Sister of Jessie McIntyre. Sister-in-law of Jean and her children Jeannie, Anne and Wilf Jr. Special aunt of Norm and Teresa, Charlotte and Roger, Chuck and Colleen, Willy, Jimmy, Edna and Gord, Kelly, Heather, Rodney, Candice, Bobby and Jimmy. Godmother of Cindy and Lisa. Mary will also be missed by her dear friend Yvonne Lebeau; and by many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by brothers, Buddy, Norman, John, James, Joseph, Hugh and Wilfred and sisters, Catherine and Gertrude. Mary was a very dedicated employee who loved her job, co-workers and the patients at Sarnia General Hospital having worked there for over 30 years. She was a caregiver to all. Visitation will be held at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 3:45 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Jim Higgins at St. Benedict's Church, Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Interment Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 714 Lite St., Point Edward, N7V 1A6. Dedication service Sunday, Sept. 20, 2009, at 2 p.m. at the Wawanosh Wetlands Conservation Area.
