Ruby A. Potter 1916 - 2009 Miramichi - Ruby Adeline Potter, widow of the late Roy Potter, of Manse Street, Miramichi, passed away at the Dr. George Dumont Hospital, in Moncton, on Thursday evening, June 4th, 2009, at the age of 92. Born in Chatham, on August 4th, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Wesley and Emma (Weeks) Davidson. She was a homemaker and a member of Knox united Church, Miramichi. She is survived by one daughter, Sharon Whyte (Don), of Lower Sackville, NS; three sons, Robert Potter (Joyce), of Miramichi, Bev Potter (Barb), of Londonderry, NS, Gary Potter, of Miramichi; two sisters, Florence Hebert, of Britiah Columbia and Laura Vibert, of Misco Island; four brothers, Warren Davidson (Edith), of New Jersey, George Davidson (Phyllis), of Burnt Church, Douglas Davidson (Erma), of Miramichi, Norman Davidson, of Burnt Church; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Roy, in 1969; three sisters, Alice Cassidy, Mildred Russell, Mamie Vibert; four brothers, William, Donald, Robert and Jack Davidson. Visitation will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., on Sunday only, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held from Adams Funeral Home Chapel, on Monday, June 8th, 2009, at 3 pm, conducted by Rev. David Cleveland. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Miramichi.
