Arthur LeBlanc

Arthur LeBlanc 1924 - 2009 Arthur LeBlanc, age 85, of Cocagne and formerly of Saint-Thomas de Kent, Bouctouche, has passed away at the Dr Georges L Dumont hospital on Saturday, June 6, 2009, after a lengthy illness. Born in Bouctouche, March 2, 1924, he was the son of the late Albert and the late Alvina (Melanson) LeBlanc. During the years 1955 to 1970, Arthur was employed at the Waltham, Mass Hospital. In the following years he continued working as a residential painter and farmer. Arthur leaves to mourn three sisters: Lina Cormier (Lionel) of Gardner, Mass, Marie Léger (late Malcolm) of Waltham, Mass and Ronalda Saulnier (Alphée) of Cocagne, two brothers : Eric (Anna) of Saint-Antoine and Edmond (late Aldéa) of Cocagne, a very special friend: Victorine Cormier and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters: Anita, Eva and Anna and two brothers: Edouard and Joseph. Visitation will be at the Saint-Pierre Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Cocagne on Tuesday, June 9, from 2 to 4 and 5:45 to 6:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Pierre Church, Cocagne on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at 7 pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In Arthur's memory, donations can be made to the Dr Georges L. Dumont Hospital Foundation.
