Born in Moncton on May 11, 1957, he was the son of Doris (née Gould) and the late Ernest Boudreau Sr. Ernie will be sadly missed by his wife Paulette (née Caron), his mother Doris Boudreau, his brother David (Julie Stuart), his sisters Louane Fraser (Bob), Celia Boudreau (Michael Hollywood), Teresa "Tissa" Pellerin along with his nieces and nephews Amy (Iain) Tennent and Sara Rae, Andrew Fraser, Lauren and Harry Hollywood, Marcel, Elyse and Bridget Pellerin, Tyler Stuart, and his faithful companion "Quinn". In addition Ernie left behind his parents in-law René and Carmella Caron and their family, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will also dearly miss him. He was predeceased by his father Ernest (1972) and his brother-in-law Marc Pellerin (2005). Ernie was a passionate and active individual whose career revolved around the building supply industry having worked for Lockhart's Lumber, CanWell and Roberts Windows. Early in life his interests included skiing any slope with fresh powder, snow shoeing to Crooked Creek, playing baseball, darts and golf with all of his very dear friends who were extremely important to him. Ernie's primary interest always revolved around sailing. He played an active role in the Shediac Bay Marina, Shediac Bay Sailing School and the Northumberland Strait Yachting Association. In 1999 Ernie was in a car accident, which affected his mobility. The courage and positive attitude he demonstrated until his passing was inspiring to those who knew him or anyone who met him. His interest shifted to model shipbuilding, wood working and MacGyver Consultant to anyone who needed help. His constant passion continued to be sailing and in 2001 Ernie participated in the Mobility Cup, a national sailing competition, representing New Brunswick in Victoria, British Columbia and again in Halifax in 2007.
