RODGERS, WILMA MAE - Wilma Mae Rodgers passed away peacefully at the age of 84, at the Vancouver General Hospital with her loving family at her side She will be remembered by her love for her grandsons, her stories and her baking. She loved gardening, art and helping others. She was born Dec. 16th, 1924 in Coles Island, New Brunswick. Married to Leigh John Wright who died in World War II in Belgium. She lived with her second husband, Rev. Burton Charles Rodgers (deceased), in Alert Bay,the Yukon, Golden, Abostford, Vancouver and Richmond. She was the daughter of the late David Irven Prosser and Ella Mae (Crandall) Prosser of Petitcodiac, New Brunswick. She is survived by two brothers David (Isabel) Prosser of River Glade, NB and Norman (Carol) Prosser of Havelock, NB. She was predeceased by a son Byron Leigh Wright (2008) and a brother Raymond (1933). A Celebration Of Life will be held August 6th at 2:30 pm at Petitcodiac Baptist Church Fellowship Room for friends and relatives.
