LUTES, HARRIS ALLAN - Harris Allan Lutes, 83, of Monteagle passed away peacefully at home July 1st, 2009. Born in Berry Mills, he was a son of the late Judson and Sadie (Lewis) Lutes. He retired as Road Supervisor from the Department of Transportation in Salisbury after 31 years service. He was a member of the Second North River Baptist Church where he had served as a Deacon and trustee and bowled with the Fairlanes senior league. Survived and sadly missed by his beloved wife of 58 years Bessie (Lewis); his children Faye Armstrong (David), Petitcodiac, Shelley Lewis (Kelly), Salisbury, Michael (Janet), Little River, Randy (Judy), Juniper, Brent, Monteagle, Drew (Carla), Moncton; cherished grandchildren Tracie, Laura, Lonny, Patrick, Tyler, Brodie; great grandchildren Blake, Cassidy, Jesse and Caleb. Survived also by a sister Dorothy Hourihan (Jim), Woodstock ; brothers Judson (Mabel), Hamstead, Victor (Mabel), Calgary and by several cousins, nieces, nephews. Predeceased by a daughter Jocelyn; daughter in law Tina; sisters Lillian Eagles, Kaye Colpitts; brothers Dana, Harold and Karl. Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting Friday 6 to 9 pm. The funeral will be held from the Second North River Baptist Church on Saturday, July 4th, 2009 at 1 pm with Rev. Mark Hunter officiating. Interment at the Monteagle cemetery.
