GALLANT, CATHERINE - 1920 - 2009 - Catherine Gallant passed away at the Dr George-L. Dumont of Moncton, on Sunday, July 5th 2009, at the age 88, wife of late Eddy Gallant. Born November 17th, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Jérôme Richard and the late Madeleine Poirier. She is survive by four daughters: Rita (Jean-Paul McCaie) of Scarborough Ont, Lorraine (Clarence Mallet) of Bloomfield, Dorice Gallant (Charles Richard) of Rogersville and Janice (Jean Arseneault) of Collette; three sons: Donald (Léonie) of Collette, Roger (Cécilia) of Collette and Daniel of St-Jean; two sisters: Marie-Anne Gaudet (late Georges) of Rogersville and Alice Gallant (Marcel) of West Collette; one brother, Joseph Richard (Anita) of New Hampshire US.; one daughter in law, Dianne (late Claude) of Pleasant Ridge; 17 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by three sons: Louis, Alfred and Claude; one grandson Paul; three sisters: Esther, May and Emiline as well as one brother Fred. The family will be receiving relatives and friends, Tuesday July 7th, at the Salon 'La Colombe' 11325 road 126, Rogersville from 2pm - 4pm and 7pm - 9pm, Wednesday from 9:30am until the departure at 10:45am. The funeral service will be held at the Notre-Dame de Fatima, RC church of Collette, Wednesday, July 8th, at 11am. A donation to the Dr Georges-L. Dumont hospital, oncology dept. will be appreciated.
