EBERHARDT, GEORGE - 1927 - 2009 - George Eberhardt formerly of Moncton passed away peacefully at the Drew Nursing Home, Sackville on Thursday, July 9, 2009 at the age of 82. He was born in Hungary on January 28, 1927, son of the late Ferenc and Anna (Fulop) Eberhardt. George immigrated to Montreal, QC in 1956 with his elder brother Frank, both of whom were Taylors by trade. In 1969 George moved with his family to Moncton to set up Eberhardt Custom Taylor Shop on Church Street. He will be sadly missed by his daughter Erika Eberhardt (Doug Biggar) of Lower Coverdale, NB and his son, Peter Eberhardt of Surrey, BC. Besides his parents, George was predeceased by his elder brother Frank (Ferenc) Eberhardt. The family and friends will be received at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 15 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. As expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Drew Nursing Home, Sackville or the Alzheimer's Society of Canada.
