CORMIER, LAURIE - 1944 ~ 2009 - Passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on Friday July 17th, 2009 at the age of 65. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Alderic Cormier and Laudia Cormier. He worked for Carson's Construction. He is survived by his common law wife; Beatrice Cormier of Moncton, his mother; Laudia, step- son Donat; his children, Stella (Leonard) Cormier, Suzanne (Rick Landry), David (Sue Cormier), Terry Cormier (Amy Allen) and ex-wife Adèle Cormier. He will also be sadly missed by his 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; his brother's and sister's, Andrew (Yolande), Normand (Thérèse), Donald (Raymonde), Eugene (Sandra), Jeannine (Donald LeBlanc), Alida (Victor Allain), Yvonne Ryan, Thérèse Fougère (Ronald), Jeanette (Danny Cormier) & Annie (Claude Vautour). Besides his parents, Laurie was predeceased by his sister Melina Cormier. Visitation will be held from la Maison Funéraire Fair Haven Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 22nd, 2009 from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Thursday, July 23rd, 2009 at 11:00 am with burial to follow at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens, Serenity Niche.
