MACDONALD, CLARENCE A. - Clarence A. MacDonald (Bo) of Upper Coverdale, formerly of Kingston, ON passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at his residence following a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born December 23, 1941, in Halifax, NS, he was the son of the late Arthur and Myrtle (Miller) MacDonald. He is survived by a daughter, Karen Dempsey, Herring Cove; sisters, Ruth Carlin, Sydney, Theresa Langille (Carman), with whom he resided of Upper Coverdale, Patricia Sparks, Brighton, ON; a brother, Graham (Jake) (Jane), Wolfville; two grandchildren, Theresa and Christopher as well several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by a son, Ross; son in-law, Chris and a brother Charles. Respecting Clarence's wishes, there will be no visitation or public funeral service. A private family service will take place at a later date, with the interment to take place at St. John's Anglican Cemetery, Halifax.
