
RAOUL BOURQUE
BOURQUE, RAOUL - 35, of Shediac Cape passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital after a courageous short battle with cancer. He was also a kidney transplant recipient 6 years ago. Born December 14, 1973 in Moncton, he was the son of Eugène Bourque and the late Lucille (Gaudet) Bourque. Raoul was employed at Cott Beverages in Scoudouc. He will be sadly missed by his father Eugène (Bernice) of Shediac, his beloved wife, Angie (LeBlanc) and their loving children: Ryan and Amy at home, a sister Marie Richard (Claude) of Scoudouc, a brother Conrad (Chantal) of Dieppe; his mother and father-in-law Pauline and Bernard LeBlanc of Shediac; three nieces: Rachel (Kevin), Parise (goddaughter) and Renelle; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Besides his mother, a nephew Rémi Richard predeceased him. Raoul loved to hunt, play hockey and was a big Boston Bruins fan. He loved camping with his wife and children and loved coaching hockey and soccer for his son. He will especially be remembered for his great sense of humour. Visitation at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Thursday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday, from 9:30 a.m. until time of departure at 10:20 a.m. Funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 24, 2009 at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Shediac. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
