GAUTREAU, LEONARD - Leonard Gautreau of Pre-D'en-Haut passed away on Saturday July 25, 2009 at Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital at the age of 82. Born on October 6, 1926 in Gautreau Village, he was the son of the late Anastase Gautreau and the late Genevieve Bastarache. He worked as a forklift operator for CNR until his retirement and was a member of the CNR Pensioner's Association and the Golden Age Club of Pre-D'en-Haut. He loved to fish, hunt and to go camping and spent 15 winters in Florida with his friends and family. He is survived by his loving wife Aurea (LeBlanc) Gautreau; two daughters, Jeannine (Rheal) LeBlanc of Belliveau Village and Huberte (Eugene) Gaudet of Dieppe, one son, Leandre Gautreau of Pre-D'en-Haut; two brothers, Alderic Gautreau and Edgar (Hermance) Cormier both of Halifax; six grandchildren: Martin, Serge, Rejean, Claude, Christian and Nathalie; two great grandchildren: Remi and Danika; one sister-in-law Florence and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Clarence. Visitations will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Monday July 27 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Tuesday July 28 from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Funeral Mass will be held at Notre Dame de l' Annonciation RC church, Pre-D'en-Haut on Tuesday July 28 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
