MANUEL, ANTHIME - Anthime Manuel, of Baie Sainte-Anne, age 87, son of the late Andre Manuel and Barbara Chiasson, of Baie Sainte-Anne, NB, passed away on July 26th, 2009, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital. Anthime is survived by his wife Viola Jenkins, of Baie Sainte-Anne; eight children: Denise Manuel, Donalda Theriault (Romeo), both from Miramichi; Robert Manuel (Gilberte) of Pointe-Sapin, Gisele Douglas (Scott) of Guelph ON; Jean-Guy Manuel (Jacinthe), Astrid Thibodeau (Lucien), Francois Manuel, and Sharon Martin (Francis); all of Baie Sainte-Anne; twenty-one grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; five sisters: Genevieve, Dorina, Prescilla, Mildred, Vitaline; two brothers; Albert and Elias. Anthime was predeceased by two sons; Julien and Carl; one brother, Clement; three sisters; Madona, Dora and Liza. Anthime Manuel is resting at the Baie Sainte-Anne Slumber Room in Baie Sainte-Anne on Tuesday July 28th from 2-4 & 7-9 and on Wednesday from 2pm till time of the funeral. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 29th at 4pm from St Anne Church in Baie Sainte-Anne, NB. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery.
