GODFREY, MARILYN J. - Marilyn J. (Humes) Godfrey, 62, of Moncton, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2009 upon arrival at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, following a sudden illness. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of Cyril "Cy" Humes, of Moncton, and the late Jean (Carey) Humes. Marilyn was a loving daughter and wife, was an active member of St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church and attended Holy Family Roman Catholic Church. Besides her father Marilyn will be deeply missed by her loving and devoted husband and best friend of over 31 years, William "Bill" Godfrey; also, several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Thursday, 7 to 9 pm, Friday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Mass, St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, Saturday, August 1, 2009, 10:30 am, Rev. Yvon Arsenault officiating. Reception in the Parish Hall following the mass.
