WILLARD R. MILBURN
MILBURN, WILLARD R. - 1924 - 2009 - Willard Richard Milburn of Moncton, passed on to be with the Lord on July 29th, 2009, at The Moncton Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Albert Mines, on June 5th,1924, he was the son of the late Archie and Leona (Milton) Milburn. Willard was a Veteran of the Second World War having served with the Royal Canadian Army. He retired from the T. Eaton Co. in Moncton after 35 years of service and was a faithful member of Grace Baptist Church, Lutes Mountain. Willard was a loving and faithful husband and father and will be dearly missed by his wife (60 years in September) Nina (Wilson); daughters Janice (David) Hicks, Marlene (Peter) Amero, both of Moncton; son Robert (Velma) of Shubenacadie, NS; four grandchildren, Tina Amero, Jason Amero, Toronto, Corey Milburn (Michele), Jody Milburn, Edmonton, AB.; brother Keith (Marilyn) Riverview; sisters-in-law Alice Milburn, Hillsborough, Eileen Mitton and Jackie Wilson, Mississauga, ON, Lois Lane, Bedford, NS, Marion Wilson, Salisbury, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by an infant daughter, Darleen Joy (1952), a son Randy Willard (1983) a sister Minerva Steeves; brothers George, Grenville and Arnold. Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home with visitation on Friday, July 31 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Royal Canadian Legion will conduct a public Legion service at 6:50 pm Friday, July 31 at the Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 1st, at 11:00 am in the chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home Pastor Jason Cochran officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Grace Baptist Church, 48032 Homestead Road, Lutes Mountain, E1G 2P7, or Heritage Baptist Church, 580 Highway 224, Milford, NS, BON 2HO.
