CARLETON, NADINE J. - 1933 - 2009 - Nadine J. Carleton, 76, of Moncton, beloved wife of John D. Carleton, of Moncton, with her husband at her side, passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, August 2, 2009. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Clara (Welling) Steeves. Nadine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and former librarian at Queen Elizabeth School, with 25 years service. She was a member of West Lane Baptist Church, an avid reader, enjoyed doing crosswords, time spent at the family cottage (Shediac); but first and foremost was quality time with her family and grandchildren. In addition to her husband, John, of 56 years, Nadine will be sadly missed by her daughter, Kimberly Smart (Paul), Moncton; sons, Craig (Kathy Quigg), Fredericton, Jeffrey (Mary-Jane Richards), Fredericton; son-in-law, Peter Babin, Dieppe; grandchildren, Nicholas, Zachary, Liam, Seth, Kate, Alexander, Elly, Kathleen, Scott. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Karolyn (2005). She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Thursday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Funeral service, West Lane Baptist Church, Friday, August 7, 2009, 11:00 am, Rev.
