GAUDET, PAUL EUGENE - Paul Eugene Gaudet of Foyer Saint Thomas (formerly of St-Joseph) passed away on August 6, 2009 at his residence at the age of 94. Born on July 6, 1915 in St- Joseph, he was the son of the late Arthur Gaudet and the late Albina Gaudet. He worked at the accounting department at the Institut of Memramcook and sold insurance for Southeastern Mutual Fire Ins and Assumption Life until his retirement; he was a member of the board of directors for Southeastern Mutual Fire Ins, member of the Historic Society of Memramcook and was a founding member of the Caisse Populaire of Memramcook. He is survived by his wife Marguerite (Landry) Gaudet; two daughters, Simone (Alvin) Deveau of Moncton and Rachel (Armand) Landry of St- Joseph; two sons, Robert Gaudet (Yvonne) and Roland (Sherrie) Gaudet both of Dieppe; two sisters, Soeur Rose-Marie Gaudet n.d.s.c. of Moncton and Aurore (late Adrien) Cormier of St- Joseph; one brother Alfred (Laurette) Gaudet of St-Joseph; seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one grandchild Mario, one sister, Catherine and by five brothers, P. Leonard c.s.c, P. Romeo, P. Robert c.s.c., Joseph and Trefflé. Visitations will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Friday August 7 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Saturday August 8 from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Thomas de Memramcook RC church, St- Joseph on Saturday August 8 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
