MCKNIGHT, LOIS M. - 1939 - 2009 - Miramichi - Lois Mary McKnight, wife of Lloyd E. McKnight, of the North Napan road, Napan, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Monday, August 10, 2009, at the age of 70. Born in Chatham, on March 16, 1939, she was the daughter of Edna (MacInnis) and the late Dallas Dickson. She was a homemaker and a member of Carmel United Church, Napan; a member of the U.C.W.; a member of the Napan Womens Institute; a member of the N.B. Genealogy Society; a volunteer with the Napan Agricultural Show. She is survived by her husband, Lloyd; two sons, Glenn McKnight, of Winnipeg, Manitoba and Gerald McKnight (Carolyn), of Owen Sound, Ont.; her mother, Edna Dickson, of Napan; one sister, Janice Flanagan (Terry), of Napan; one brother John Dickson, of Napan; five grandchildren, Jessie, Melissia, Bradley, Rodney, James; five great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Dallas Dickson. Visitation will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., Miramichi, on Thursday only, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held from Carmel united Church, Napan, on Friday, August 14, 2009, at 2 pm, conducted by Rev. David Cleveland. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Miramichi. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Carmel United Church, the Pine Grove Cemetery Fund, or any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
