PARKER, JAMES VAUGHN, "THE INSTIGATOR" (October 14, 1955 - August 13, 2009) - The death of James Vaughn Parker, husband of Debbie (Elges) of Lakeburn occurred at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday August 13th, 2009. Born in Moncton on October 14th, 1955 he was the son of Jean MacDonald (Clinton) and the late Vaughn Parker (Loretta). Jim had been employed with Ward Foods in the shipping and receiving department for over 20 years. One of his passions was racing "The Instigator" on the ¼ mile track at the Miramichi Raceway. Jim always treasured his racing buddies and his huge extended family. In addition to his wife Debbie, he is survived by his children Amanda Gauvin; Shawn (Crystal LeBlanc) and Serge Bourque (Julie); his grandchildren Cassidy, Alisson and Jenessa, his brothers and sisters Kathy Niles of Riverview, Linda Steeves of Dieppe, Stephen (Debbie) of Sunny Corner and Clayton (Krista) of Hillsborough, step siblings Peggy Fraser (David), Darlene Gould(Greg), Linda Campbell (Robbie), Michael MacDonald (Lynn), Kenny, Ralph, Bruce and Robert Legere. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father he was predeceased by an infant sister Brenda. A celebration of Jim's life will be held on Monday August 17th 2009 at 11 am at Cadman Bowness Funeral Home (857-1110) 114 Alma Street Moncton. Interment will be in Fairhaven Cemetery.
