PROSSER, JANET LOUISE - (1951 - 2009) - Riverview, NB - Janet Prosser (Collier) 58, of Riverview, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her loving family on August 25th, 2009 at The Moncton Hospital after a courageous, three-year battle with cancer. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Cerdic and Gladys (Lutes) Collier. Janet will be deeply missed by her husband Tom Prosser; daughters Kim Prime (Rob), Stephanie Prosser, and Heather Pineau (Joey) all of Riverview; and her 4 cherished grandsons Zack and Avery Prime, and Dylan and Jacob Pineau. Janet will also be sadly missed by her siblings Dennis Collier (Lynda), Sharron Edgett (Alan), Glennon Collier (Paulette), Beth Hale (Dave), Colleen Collier (Annie), Bert Collier, Joette Collier (Bonnie); and several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her brothers Danny and Darrell Collier. Janet was a member of the Coverdale United Church. For many years she enjoyed square and round dancing with Tom until discovering their love of the south and started spending their winters together in Sarasota. Janet's greatest joys were spending time with her grandsons, travelling with friends, and relaxing at home with her cat, Sara. A funeral service followed by a reception will be held on Friday, August 28th, 2009 at 1:00 pm at Fair Haven Funeral Home, 1177 Salisbury Road, Moncton.
