DOUCETTE, IRENE MARIE - Irene Marie, 85, wife of the late George Doucette, of Moncton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 30, 2009 at the palliative care unit of the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital. Born March 16, 1924 in Bouctouche, she was the daughter of the late Jean and Annette (Collette) LeBlanc. Irene was employed for many years with Vail's Laundry and volunteered many years at the East End Boys and Girls Club. She is survived by her only daughter, Jean Patterson (Gary) of Kelowna, BC; her only son, John Post (Phyllis) of Moncton; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren. At her request, there will be no public funeral service. Interment will be held in Rexton, NB.
