J. LOUIS LEBLANC

LEBLANC, J. LOUIS - J. Louis LeBlanc, 96, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, August 31, 2009. Born in Dieppe (Leger's Corner), he was the son of the late James and Evangeline (Gauvin) LeBlanc. Louis was a retired CNR employee, attended Paroisse Notre Dame de Grâce, was a member of the Club d'Age d'Or, Notre Dame de Grâce, and a Veteran of WWII, having served with the Canadian Army. Louis will be sadly missed by his daughter, Irene Carroll (late Thomas); grandson, Shane; sisters-in-law, Madeleine Boudreau and Adeline Melanson; several nieces and nephews. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Cecile (Caissie) (November 2000); son-in-law, Thomas (2004); son, Laurence; infant son, Gerald; infant daughter, Thelma; brother, Thomas and sisters, Regina and Lilianne. In honoring Louis' wishes, there will be no visitation hours. Funeral Mass, Paroisse Notre Dame de Grâce, Friday, September 4, 2009, 11:00 am, Rev. Jean Guy Dallaire officiating. Reception following the Mass. Interment, Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe. In Louis' memory, donations to a memorial of choice would be appreciated.
