HARDWICK, ROBERT A. (BOB) - Robert A. (Bob) Hardwick of Riverview passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at the Dr. George L. Dumont Hospital at the age of 67. Born June 18, 1942 in Sackville, NB, he was the son of the late Victor and Constance (Watson) Hardwick. Prior to Bob's retirement from Nav Canada this year, he was employed with Transport Canada for over 32 years, as well as NB Tel for 10 years. He was a former member of the Riverview Lions Club and enjoyed his Mary Cain Dance Classes and spending time woodworking. Bob finally did get his dream vacation this year, a trip to Hawaii. He is survived by his loving wife Linda (Turner) Hardwick; two sons, Aaron (Pamela) and Blair both of Riverview; a sister Joan Neill of Saint John; two grandsons, Brody and Benjamin and two nieces. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his first wife Ruth (Nelson) Hardwick. The family will be receiving visitors at Cobb's Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (869-2007) on Thursday from 7-9. A service celebrating Bob's Life will take place from Cobb's Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Friday September 4, 2009 at 1:00 PM.
