LETA L. CRANDALL

CRANDALL, LETA L. - Leta L. Crandall, 94, of Upper Coverdale and formerly of Moncton passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, September 6th, 2009. Born in Parkindale, she was the daughter of the late Rupert and Ettie (Colpitts) Parkin. Leta was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and was a former receptionist for Dr. D.K. Senn with over 20 years service. She was a member of Highfield Baptist Church and the Young at Heart Seniors Group and former member of the Canadian Order of Foresters Court Ann. Leta enjoyed knitting, was an avid cook who enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends, and always enjoyed a cup of tea and cookie to share with you. Leta will be sadly missed by her daughter, Marilyn Carter, with whom she resided; grandchildren, Roger Galbraith, Upper Coverdale, Carolyn Wilson (Darrell), Moncton, Stephen Galbraith (Denise), Moncton, Shari Steeves (David), Parkindale; great grandchildren, Travis Wilson (Susan), Randy Wilson, Josh Steeves, Gillian Steeves, Stephanie Galbraith, Alex Galbraith; great great granddaughter, Jericah; sister, Ella Wilson, Riverview; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Raymond B. Crandall (1995); sister Lillian Marshall. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Wednesday, 2 to 4, 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service, Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, Thursday, September 10, 2009, 11:00 am, Rev. Jonathan Steeper officiating. Reception following the service in the Funeral Home Reception Centre.
