LEBLANC, ALBERT - 1935 - 2009 - Albert LeBlanc, 74, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Friday, September 11th 2009 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, NB. Born in Saint-Anselme, NB, he was the son of the late Alban and the late Dina (née: Bourque) LeBlanc. Mr. LeBlanc was a dedicated family man who cherished his wife, sons and grandchildren. He had a passion for both his vegetable and flower gardens and was an avid sports enthusiast, especially his Boston teams. He is survived by his wife, Claudette (née: LeBlanc); three sons, Roger (Giffin) of Portland, ME, Bob of Dieppe and Donald (Michelle) of Millis, MA; six sisters, Bernadette (late Gerald) Leger, Alma (Yvon) Cormier and Jean (late Fernand) Cormier, all three of Waltham, MA, Claudine (Albert) Poirier of Port Ritchie, FL, Marie-Ange (Roy) LeBlanc of Athol, MA and Cecile (Jimmy) Lawn of Spring Hill, FL; one brother, Terry (Linda) of Auburndale, MA; five grandchildren, Patrick, Christopher, Hannah, Maggie and Madison as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, (857-1901), on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and also on Wednesday from 10 am until time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Ste-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, September 16th 2009 at 11 am. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens, Moncton, NB. Donations to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital Foundation or the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. www.chartersville.com
