ETHEL MARJORIE BISHOP
BISHOP, ETHEL MARJORIE - 86, of the Kiwanis Nursing Home, Sussex and formerly Petitcodiac passed away Friday, September 18, 2009 at the home. Born in Killam's Mills she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Elsie (Branscombe) Killam. A homemaker, she was a member of the Petitcodiac Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking, gardening and handi-work. Survived by her step-daughter, Shirley Murphy (Ken) of Petitcodiac; step-daughter-in- law, Carol Bishop of Lower Sackville N.S.; her brother, Alfred Killam (Cora) of Lewis Mountain; seven step- grandchildren; fifteen step-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Survived also by sisters-in-law Margaret Balzer and Frances Gillies; brothers-in-law Stephen Lewis and Bert (Ruby) Bishop. Predeceased by her husband, Kenneth (2008); step-son, Wayne Bishop; step-son-in-law, Ashley Murphy; brothers, Wilfred, Eldon and Roy Killam; sisters, Pearl Graves, Violet Steeves and Hazel Stultz. A private family graveside service will be held at Maplewood Cemetery, Petitcodiac, Pastors Gordon Cook and Bill Parks officiating.
