GAUDET, LIONEL - (1935 - 2009) - Shediac River - Lionel Gaudet, 74, passed away suddenly on Friday, September 18th at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital. Born in Memramcook on August 7, 1935, he was the son of the late Fidèle and Mathile (Gautreau) Gaudet. Lionel had a great love for the outdoors. He was a member of the Grande-Digue Hunting and Fishing Club. He loved to hunt and had a passion for camping. He was a dedicated retired employee of CNR for 37 years as a crane engineer. Lionel is survived by two sons, Ricky (Lisa) of Shediac River, Gilles (Tanya) of Moncton; two daughters, Gisèle Gaudet and Monique LeBlanc (Michel) both of Dieppe; five grandchildren, Danika, Nicolas, Dani, Daniel and Andy; and one special friend, Lorraine. He was predeceased by his wife, Géraldine in 2005. Visitation will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Monday, September 21st from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and on Tuesday, September 22nd from 9 till 10:15 am. Funeral mass will take place on Tuesday, September 22nd at the St-Jacques-Le-Majeur RC Church in Scoudouc at 11 am.
