LEPARD, BARBARA E. - 1925-2009 - Miramichi - Barbara Elaine Lepard, widow of the late H. Murray Lepard, of the Miramichi Senior Citizens Home, and formerly of Golden Hawk Drive, Miramichi, passed away at her residence, on Wednesday, September 23, 2009, at the age of 83. Born in Belleville, Ont., on November 24, 1925, she was the daughter of the late David and Augusta Bradford. She was a homemaker and a former employee of the Dept. of National Defense, working as a secretary. She was a member of St. Pauls Anglican Church, Miramichi as well as a member of the A.C.W. She is survived by four daughters, Linda King (Douglas), of Newtown, Conn., USA, Jacqueline Mathews (John), of Carleton Place, Ont., April MacMillian (Jean), of Lac Ste Marie, QC, Elizabeth Broughton (Greg), of Renfrew, Ont.; one son, Bruce Lepard (Linda), of Mableton, Georgia, USA; one brothers, Norman Bradford (Iris), of Toronto, Ont.; eleven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Murray, in 1999; three brothers, Robert, David and John Bradford. Visitation will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., Miramichi, on Friday only, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held from St. Pauls Anglican Church, Miramichi, on Saturday, September 26, 2009, at 2 pm, conducted by Rev. Gordon Thompson. Interment will be in St. Pauls Anglican Cemetery.
