WALLACE, RALPH C. - Ralph C. Wallace, 88, of Moncton and formerly of Lutes Mountain, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, September 23, 2009. Born in Pointe du Chene, he was the son of the late Harry and Florence (Trites) Wallace. Ralph was a former employee of the T. Eaton Co., was retired from Howard Johnson's (1980) and attended Hillside Baptist Church. A Veteran of WWII he served with the First Canadian Armored Brigade (NB Regiment of Tanks) and was a member of Moncton Legion Branch #6, a member of the Legion Poppy Committee for many years and an active member of the Masons (Zetland Lodge #24 F. & A.M.). Ralph was a pleasant, smiling person, very outgoing and always ready to lend a helping hand. Ralph will be sadly missed by his daughter, Darcy Dixon (Ken), Vernon, ON; grandchildren, Ralph (Jana) and Timothy (Marie-Pierre); great grandchildren, Connor, Emily, Samuel and Sarah; brother-in-law, James MacLeod (late Joyce), Moncton; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Hazel B. (MacLeod) Wallace (2004) and sister, Evelyn Lewis.
